Uma Mantravadi is an immigration specialist. An immigrant herself, she brings to the table over 29 years of experience . She completed her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston’s prestigious law school, and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Mantravadi is highly respected in the field of immigration law and is personally involved in every case that she receives. Her goal is to develop long-term client relationships, based on close cooperation and solid results.

She has an outstanding record of achieving successful results for her clients in the areas of immigration & Family Law. She is a tireless advocate for her clients. Being an immigrant herself, she feels immigration law is not merely a business; it is close to her heart, and has brought her career fulfillment of resolving some of the most challenging cases successfully. She is present for client interviews and attends immigration court with clients to bolster their cases with her innate knowledge. Her work takes her abroad on occasion to meet with senior officials of US consulates abroad, and she is often a delegate at various USCIS service centers in the U.S. to discuss policies and procedures.

Uma also handles business law, family law and real estate matters. Attorney Uma Mantravadi and her efficient support staff hail from diverse backgrounds and industries and are highly experienced with sound knowledge of law.

In addition to managing a wide variety of cases and keeping up to date with the latest changes in immigration law, Ms. Uma Mantravadi is committed to the local Houston community. She provides pro-bono services to numerous non-profit organizations throughout the US and in India, such as the Telugu Cultural Association of Houston, Sneha Hastham, Telugu Association of North America (TANA), ATA (American Telugu Association) and NATA (North American Telugu Association. She also provides pro bono services for temples like Shirdi Sai Jalaram Mandir, Meenakshi Temple of Houston, Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of Austin, to name a few. She is also a featured speaker at IT Serve Alliance, in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and other cities in the US. She is currently a Board Member for one of the largest non-profit, volunteer-driven, altruistic 1​ organization, “Sneha Hastham”, which literally means “Helping Hands”. She is a Board of Director for ICC and various other non- profit organizations.

Uma Mantravadi hosts a weekly radio show on FM 103.5 every Monday & Wednesday from 7PM to 9PM (CST) that educates the public on updates on the current hotly debated issues of immigration, especially under the current administration. She is a regular speaker on several regional television shows and provides updates for BBC Telugu. She is a featured TV Speaker on various Indian TV shows in the US.
